It feels like freshly in love with my violin!

I would not have believed that I would experience such feelings of happiness while practising and on stage. Last Sunday I had a concert with other musicians. We had a very intense, masterly and almost immaculate evening. That was the feeling that moved me into studying music: that longing for fusion, that stopping of time when I was deeply touched by a concert.

I would like to thank and congratulate you for your excellent article in the Swiss Music Newspaper. I have never seen this matter outlined so vividly, coherently in itself and without any ideological or esoteric ballast. Please take these lines as a spontaneous expression of my gratitude for this rather rare kind of at the same time committed and factual representation.

I've always enjoyed performing very much, but I've never felt so deeply involved in my play as in the concert that followed a series of Flow lessons. I am sure that the Flow method will lead us musicians to what we strive for in the long hours we spend on our instrument: to the wonderful sense of fulfillment.

Cellist, London

I gained a lot of courage to experiment much more in my lessons, to let things run freely and to work out with my students and with a lot of fun the contact with the instrument and a 'rich', beautiful sound. The future of music teaching, in my view, has a lot to do with Practising in Flow, that is the direction in which we should evolve as teachers.

On the class Jeunesses Modernes in France, I had a piece to play that absolutely pushed me to my limits. I only had two weeks to rehearse. But in the end it worked out because I practised concentrated, slow, constructive and continuously according to this Flow method. Such experiences are very uplifting and I am very grateful for it.

Cellist, Student at Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts

I'm very happy to have learned about the Practising in Flow, it brings us to the essentials. After practising, I have a sense of deep satisfaction. By the way, my student, who joined the second half of the course, has also made a giant leap ever since. She can now practise four hours a day with pleasure and no pressure!

Monika Friedrich
Violist and Violinist, Trogen, Switzerland

I practise with enthusiasm and notice that my movements become softer and rounder and the double bass sounds much freer and more beautiful. I got a completely new sound and became much clearer about the intonation. Practising is incredible fun and has become much more effective because I have finally taken the time to really feel. And suddenly the ideas come.

Silke Palme
Double Bass, Nuremberg

I was impressed by this balance between focus and fun, which led to significant improvements in a very reduced time frame. In addition, I discovered several aspects that can easily be transferred to all professions, sports or leisure activities!
